Turning Blue - - -
Everyone who lives in Indiana and wants to be a true Hoosier is getting excited about turning BLUE this week.
Colts and Super Bowl finally belong in the same sentence.
I have begun my "blueformation". This is just the beginning!!
Never had blue nails before - - - - but I'm sure it will help our COLTS win. (Ignore age spots please. ;-)
Thanks to my "nail lady", April, for helping me go blue!!!

Wow! That's a serious nail job there. Did hubby go out and buy you the blue sapphire just for the occassion?
I made blue, football, cutout, sugar cookies today and I'm getting ready to make blue finger jello.
It is a blue kind of week, isn't it?
It is at that!!!!
Wow - - I haven't made any blue food, didn't even THINK of that. But I did stop at Elder-Beerman last night and buy three new sweater tops so I can wear blue every day this week to school!!!
Actually, Greg gave me the sapphire several years ago for Christmas - - - but it sure 'fits' blue week, doesn't it? I don't know why I took it off before one of those pictures - - - but when I noticed that it was too late for me to redo just then.
Nice nails, nice ring. You're really looking good. If the Colts don't win, heaven forbid, it isn't our fault. We tried.
yackiesue
Wow, your nails really are cool! I bet Korie could make your hair look equally bleautiful!
Keetha,
My mother-in-law had lymphoscintography and sentinel node biopsy yesterday. The doctor injected a blue dye to "see" the lymph nodes more clearly. He said she would "expel" the dye and not to be alarmed b/c her ***** would be BLUE! We said that she is the ultimate Colts fan - YES!!! - Go Colts!!!
p.s. She's doing fine. Gets biopsy results Feb 6. Dr. said things looked good from the naked eye. (He removed a malignant melanoma from her a few weeks ago. Stage 1 borderline Stage 2 so this procedure was a preventative, proactive measure.
p.s. #2 I love the nails!
It's a start! I can feel the momentum building!
Glad to hear that Pauline seems to be doing well after her procedure, Kathy - - - - WOW, I wish I could have blue ******!!! :-)
Don't worry Char - - - I've got the blue hair thing covered!!!
You have me LOL - seriously! I want the Colts to win, but I guess I'm not a true blue fan.
Oh Jeana - - - you just don't know WHAT you are missing if you don't turn blue!!!!
A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Bears Fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they are Bears fans, too.
Not really knowing what being a Bears fan meant, but wanting to be liked by their teacher, the students' hands flew into the air.
There was, however, one exception. Lucas was not going along with the crowd. The teacher asked him why he had decided to be different.
"Because I'm not a Bears fan" he said.
"Then," asks the teacher, "what are you?"
"I'm an Indy Colts fan," boasts the little boy.
The teacher asks Lucas why he is an Indy Colts fan. "Well, my dad and mom are Colts fans, so I'm a Colts fan, too" he responds.
"That's no reason," the teacher says. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was an idiot. What would you be then?"
Lucas smiles and says, "Then I'd be a Bears fan."
Where's the blue hair? Love the nail. About blue ****, Kim's mother-in-law made Santa cookies a few years ago and gave one to Rachel. It had LOTS of red food coloring in it. Rachel was very concerned later in the day when she went to the potty. So, food coloring in your blue food, and lots of it, should do the trick.
Cute, Kathy!!!!
Kari - - - I'm gonna have blue hair today.
