It's Friday Night Again!!!
And I'm home alone.
Kyle got a job which started tonight, so he won't be home till the mall closes.
Ole took Sven and went back up to the Big Pond fishing. They left at 2 a.m. but I doubt I see them until well after dark, looney as they are about flinging little colorful plastic rattling fish in the water.
Home alone on a Friday night. What to do????? Here are some ideas, which do YOU think I'll do?????
**Read a Book
**Get take-out and watch crime solving shows I
previously recorded
**Spend time blogging
**Go Dancing
**Find Euchre buddies
**Go shopping
**Eat out
**Go to a HS football game
**Stay up all night watching Chick Flicks
**Go to bed by 8 p.m.
**A combination of several of the above
(but which ones???)

Keri, I agree with you...she probably danced all the way to the bed...did a few "mashed potato" steps on top of the bed and set the chick flick on "play"...put thumb in mouth...and immediately fell asleep....WOW...my kinda FRIDAY NITE FUN!!!!!!!
I know a great place to belly dance!!!!!

You mean, Keri, this is the first time it has ever dawned on you that I actually have a double life, and that I am truly a secret agent in my other one????????? Hmmmmm - - - I must be pretty good if I've fooled you THIS long.
If you spend your Friday nights like I do, you ordered take out, watched taped crime shows, and did a little blogging before bed. In fact, our night tonight was kind of like that, except it's Saturday, not Friday (camped in the rain last night,) we didn't order take out (had a single helping microwavable hamburger helper meal,) I was not home alone (trying to keep 2 kids out of the room while watching CSI detracts a little from the show,) and I only have a second to blog while the kids are in the tub. I think I like your evening better.
But I haven't said WHAT my evening was last night yet - - - - I'm still waiting to see if I get any more guesses.
I can tell you, it was NOT Belly Dancing as suggested by Anon. ;-)
I am guessing chick flicks since your husband is gone and you are free to watch what you like...or maybe that would just be me living vicariously through your free Friday evening. (although my wonderful husband will watch chick flicks with me, and I watch sci fi with him.)
So...last nite was "howl nite" and we did not get a chance to vote on your exciting "Friday nite again"...are you ill or maybe needed rest for today's "feetball games"???? Just concerned!!!!
Ah - - - nothing of the sort. This was just a more 'normal' Friday night - - - Greg was home and we went out to eat with Mike and Diane, then came home.
BUT - - - did you see that I did reveal WHAT I did last Friday night on my "Colliding" entry????
I did see the revelation and the contemplation of belly dancing...is that maybe why "the young man of the sea" decided to take you out...hmmmmm????
Oh no - - - - "The Old Man of the Sea" didn't DECIDE to take me out - - - I called him from school and asked if he could meet Mike and Diane with me. So, it was more like "The Old Woman in the Shoe" took the "Old Man of the Sea out."
