Who Are They?
Everyday I check my site meter to see not only how many people have visited my blog but also the location of those people and the site they used to link to me if one is listed.
It's really fascinating to try to imagine who all those people out there in Cyber Land are!! Hummel Nest, you probably link more people to my blog than anyone - - - thank you very much!!!
I wonder who those people from Shippensburg, PA, Corning, NY, and Newton, KS are? (And more places too which are equally unknown to me.)
Other people seem to have found my blog in a more random way - - - like, of all things, a Google search. And some people who have found me don't show a link of any kind. Someone in Lund, Skane Lan, Sweden visits often, sometimes several times a day, but I have NO CLUE who they are nor how they found me.
Only a few of you who slip in and out of my Blog World have let me know who you are. (Thank you, Cindy!!)
What fun it would be if those of you that have found me in some random way, and continue to visit from time to time, would leave a little comment on this post and at least to one degree or another "delurk."
Pretty Please???????
Oh yah, all you whom I DO know, thanks for all the comments you leave. Keep 'em coming. :-)

Hey Keetha,
I guess I'm not a totally "random" visitor, but I do stop by every once in awhile through the Hummel's blog. I am friends with them and actually live on their street, just 2 doors down.
It's amazing how you can feel like you get to know people through "Blog World", when in reality you're perfect strangers.
Keep up the posting and we'll keep up the reading!
Laura Beun
Thank you, Laura, for introducing yourself. Of course you aren't random - - - but neither did I "know" you before. Come back anytime you please - - - and feel free to "talk" to me often!!! :-)
PS - - - I haven't gotten to see those darlin' little babies in PERSON yet - - - so hug them for me the next time you see them, ok? (And JoEllen too!!)
Oh good! I just happen to have a large cardboard box. I'll make sure I hold onto it, just in case!
LOL Shannie!!!!! It took me a minute to figure out what in the world you were talking about!!!!
You might be surprised what a darling little bed a cardboard box can make - - - little blankies and pillows in the bottom, and you can even DECORATE the out side of it!!! :-)
Old times they used to use a dresser drawer - - - - - but mine are all too full. :-(
Deb Wuertley, Marion, Indiana. Faithful blog reader.
Keetha - I confess ... I'm the Newton, Kansas viewer! :) I'm a friend of JoEllen's. We are originally from Holmes County, but we're living in Kansas while my husband is in the Pastoral Ministries program at Hesston College.
Trust me, I'm not a blog stalker! I enjoy reading your posts - keep them coming!
Just shows how popular you are.
AH - - - Newton Kansas!!!! Yep, I see your city on my locations list frequently. I don't think it is stalking to read a blog that is open to the public - - - you are VERY WELCOME to come as often as you like. I think it is WAY FUN to meet people in this way. Except - - - you didn't really tell me who you were, other than your last name. Maybe I'll sneak around in JoEllen's blog and see what else I can learn about you!!! :-) I already tried to go to your profile and from there to YOUR blog - - - but it wouldn't let me.
Hope to see/hear from you again soon.
Keetha - Sorry for the lack of interesting info... :)
My name is Michele and I'm a stay at home Mom to my little daughter, Greta. She's 18 months old. My husband, Jeremy, is in his first year at Hesston in the Pastoral Ministries program.
We're living 1000 miles away from our families and friends - gets kind of lonely sometimes. I do find that the people I "drop-in" on in the blog world become my "friends" even though I've never met most of them. Crazy!
I enjoy cooking, gardening, scrapbooking, decorating, walking, playing cards and reading.
One question - where did you download the counter that tells you who all sees your blog? We just have a simple counter, but no specifics to go with it.
Thanks for the intersting posts! BTW - my husband is a big football fan - the Cleveland Browns to be specific - but he did cheer on the Colts in the big game!
Michelle - - - wow!!! How fun to hear from you again so soon.
First of all - - - my husband and I spent the first 12 years of our married life living close to 1000 miles away from BOTH of our families too. It is quite a challenge. I can relate and empathize with you on that!!!
You'll have to garden and scrap book for me - - - cause I don't enjoy either of those two things. I have too many memories of pulling weeds in the hot sun in my Aunt's garden to like gardening, and I'm just not a scrap-book making kind of gal. I LOVE to look at OTHER people's - - - but I'd rather take a beating than have to sit down and DO one of my own. Silly, aren't I?
I do LOVE jig saw puzzles though - - - go figure.
Tell your own personal little preacher boy I said THANKS for helping cheer "my" Colts on to a super bowl victory!!! I'm still so excited when I think about it I can hardly stand it!!!! I'll have to pay closer attention to his Browns next fall.
BTW - - - your hubby doesn't happen to be "Big Fat Chicken" does he? Now, if that question makes no sense at ALL to you - - - then its for sure he ISN'T BFC!!!
Come again soon and often.
Oh yah, Michelle - - - if you click on my site meter, it will take you to the site meter home page and there are instructions on there. When I first put it on my blog, mine didn't show any numbers either, but I went back in and found out how to exchange that one for another.
In order to see all the locations, referrals, etc I have to click on my meter and it takes me to my
"info" page - - - that's where I find all that stuff. I have it set to not let the public see that part.
You're welcome, Keetha! I've enjoyed getting to know you and your blogger friends through your blogs. Like Michele, we have lived all of our married life away from family and it's nice to read blogs of people from my home town. It's been exciting to learn things like...I know Deb's in-laws and I know and LOVE Jaena's grandmother. Also, most of the blogs, at the very least, bring a smile to my face! Y'all keep writing and I'll keep reading.
BTW, I was recently in Winston-Salem and ran into Charlotte Sumwalt...tell your parents she looks great and said she is doing very well.
So glad you SPOKE up again, Cindy - - - I've been missing you!!! Talk to me more often!!! :-)
No, my hubby isn't Big Fat Chicken - at least I don't think so. I don't even know what that is?? :)
LOL Michele - - - - if you don't know ABOUT Big Fat Chicken, then it is a SURE FIRE THING that you nor your husband is he!!!
Someone comes to my blog, only ID's himself as "Big Fat Chicken," even has a profile under that moniker - - - rather a funny one at that - - - and only wants to talk football.
It drives me NUTS trying to figure out who it is - - - but it is fun too.
Okay, you figured it out. My last name is Patterson.
Bawk!
Nice to see you back on here, Big Fat. BUT - - - now you're telling fibs!!! You can't be "Patterson" because the location of my only 11: 26 p.m. blog visitor was Indy. I KNOW that's now where Pattersons live.
So - - -you'll have to do better than THAT on your ID.
