Blogging hit the "big time" - - - it has gotten into a commercial!!!!
The scene: Husband and wife sitting in their car enjoying strawberry cheesecake milkshakes from Sonic. Here's my "rough" translation of what happens next - - -
Husband says: "I think I'll write all about this on my blog so my readers will know to try one."
Wife says: "What readers? The only person who reads your blog is your mom"
Husband replies: "No, I think she told her neighbor"
Wife: "Oh, so now you have TWO readers?"
I LOVE IT!!!!! (No, not the shakes - - - - the fact that blogging is in a commercial)

This must be the commercial Keri was talking about...can't wait to see it...we can relate!!!!
BTW, I will do a "tablescapes" in the middle of Feb (outside under palm tree)...it will probably take that long by the time I learn our digital cam and set-up a blog!!!

The commercial was on during football games, that's how I saw it.
Thank you very much Keri for blog inx. Do you think we will have time since we are also doing a "bottom sheet folding party"???? And maybe a "tablescapes" lesson here and there....do you think Steak N Shake will mind if we start re-arranging their tables???? Maybe Kyle will let us borrow some of his packets he's saving...we could do something "cool" with those!!!!

Hubby is JJ the DJ and he is now doing a radio program from our house every Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. called "Million Dollar Rockin' Gold" www.wmafcountry.com. It's a "country music" station but he does "rock n roll oldies" hence my nickname "Sloopy" from long, long ago. If it's around a holiday you might even hear Kelly or Korie doing a safety promotion spot. They "cut" a spot for him while they were visiting us & they are both GREAT "on air". Just saw on TV, all the snow "up Nawth"..gotta go buy some more "winter" clothes. Yay, Yay!!!!
No snow here yet, mom - - - -though in spite of the sunshine it does feel a bit 'nippy' out there today.

I honestly can't stay up with all the blogging. Keri, please don't teach mom how to set up a blog...I can't even stay up to date with you and your mom's. I did finally learn to click on "recent posts" to catch up with the latest comments. By-the-by, I love the Sonic commercial, the look on his face when his wife comments, is priceless.
