Greg 'n Keetha Stuff

OK, let's be honest. This is really KEETHA stuff. Sometimes I write about Greg - - - but he has never in his life made one single post of his own. He has occasionally made a comment or two. So - - - come on in and visit with me, Keetha, for a while. I'd love it if you left your foot prints. (Interpretation: COMMENT PLEASE ;-)

Ole Goes to Florida

Fishing Report:

Ole (Maleus fishcrazius) returned from Florida this week, and if these are unphotoshopped pictures (and I believe they are as I am the one who downloaded them from the camera), then they are proof of his fishing prowess! ;-)

Gag Grouper (Mycteroperca microlepis). This fish is a keeper and is waiting in my freezer to be grilled swimming in butter!!!

Tarpon (Megalops atlanticus). Game fish, not a food fish - - - - back in the water he went.

Goliath Grouper (Epinephelus itajara). Big enough - - - - but protected, so had to be a catch and release.

The snook (Centropomus undecimalis) - - - - too small to keep. I guess I'll have to be satisfied with "eating" this picture since he never got a keeper.

Do you like my inclusion of the binomial nomenclature for each organism? Hey - - - I AM a Biology teacher, ya know!!!

Jason just said he doesn't think he ever sees a bigger smile on Dad's face than when he has a big fish!! I said I agree...except sometimes when he's got his grandson he smiles that big, too! =)

Oh! Imagine the first time he has his grandson in the boat and they BOTH get big fish!!! Dad's face might crack in two!!!!
