Mom
For those of you who know and have been following my mom's progress, she did get to go home from the hospital last evening. Dad said they had a comfortable night and she was up at her normal hour and eating breakfast.
Please keep remembering them as we believe this is the beginning of her "home going."

She is in my prayers, as are all of you.
I have a huge lump in my throat.
(I've been through this sort of thing).
Love to all of you,
Jackie
I´m glad she was able to go home last night. I´ll be praying!
Thank you girls for your support!!
Hey......I'm so sorry I didn't realize your mom was sick. Praying for you all during these days. Although its hard.....it's a beautiful thing to watch someone go to Heaven. (I guess that's why my heart is in Hospice!) Love you
You are in my prayers (even more so) this week.
Keetha, I didn't realize either that your mom is so close to going home home. You and the family are in my prayers.
For those of you who don't know - - - my mom has lived with Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 50 years. She has lasted longer than anyone I know and has been a fighter. But the disease is a killer - - - albeit a very SLOW killer. It has worn out her internal organs, right now her heart and lungs are failing rather rapidly.
If you have seen her you would know that it is actually a miracle that she has lived this long. She is 79, her birthday is August 12.
Oh wow. Thanks for the update. What a tough situation. Praying for you all. With love!
(Actually I kinda remember either last summer or the summer before at camp....seeing your parents and your dad would help her stand up for singing, etc. She wasn't really able to do it on her own. Now it rings a bell!)
Yep - - - you are remembering the RIGHT little couple. In fact - - - mom hasn't been able to stand up or sit down on her own since BEFORE our Kelly was born. See what I mean? NO ONE else has LIVED this long with that much crippling from RA. NO ONE.
My thoughts and prayer are with you and your family.
We will be thinking of you and praying for you and your family.
Keetha-you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers! I was diagnosed with RA postpartum after my first baby. Your mom sounds like a fighter...thinking of you all.
Glad she is home, Keetha. We'll be praying.
Thanks, Jaena.
I will lift you all up in prayer. Having just lost Russell's dad, I know how hard the home going can be, even when we know they are flying to the arms of Jesus. We are still missing someone we love. So our prayers go with your mom and with YOU.
Thank you NancyGrayce.
Ditto all the above. You mentioned it but I didn't realize the extent of what was going on.
Bless you guys!
