Camping at Ouabache - - -
That's spelled Ouabache, but it's pronounced Wabash. (French spelling of the Indian word - - - look it up in your Indiana History book if you don't believe me!!! :-)
Our "home" for a few days, photo taken shortly after arriving. The following pictures are some random camping shots.
Taking time out from the fun to TRY to pass a kidney stone!!! Here Greg is waiting to talk to his urologist in Marion, hoping to get some pain relief. (Nope - - - the stone hasn't passed yet and we had to spend a couple of hours in the ER -Greg as a patient - in the middle of the night last night - - - )
Ole sorting his fishing tackle. Isn't that what you use your "dining room" table for???
Jason, Kaeleigh, and Keri. Where's Mackinley?
Kaeleigh and Tiger - - - one of Greg's golf club covers!!!
Jason and Kaeleigh

Hi Kayla!!!! I'm so glad you started a blog AND that you visited here AND left a comment!!!!!!!
HEY you didn't leave me any comments, KAYLA!!!!!!
LOL Keri - - - who knows if she'll come back here and READ these comments again or not - - - she probably isn't the "bloghead" you and I are!!!! :-)
BTW Kayla, thanks for the link to your Uncle Tom's blog!!!! I didn't know he had one.
Whoa, mucho pictures. Looks like you had a good time.
Char - We had a fabulous time - - - - except for the 'middle of the night' kidney stone ER run. (I especially liked the part where the ER doc told me he'd given Greg enough narcotics to put down a horse and I should make sure he didn't STOP BREATHING!!!!)
Did you find the REST of the pictures below this?
Yup, saw everything. Can't wait to get there myself. How are the mosquitoes this year?
I didn't feel any mosquitoes - - - but there were some biting flies.
Your reunion is at Fairmount not Ouabache, right?
Pronounced...O-BOTCH-eeee
=)
If you are a Bluffton redneck hick who doesn't know any better you say O-botch-ee or even Qwe-botch-ee.
BUT - - - if you are an educated human being, you have learned the history of the name, and you realize that in French, the language of origin, Ouabache is pronounced awbahsh - - - WABASH!!! :-)
O-botch-ee...you-bet-chee!!!
Did-ge-git-chet....
did-ge-git-chet from the french or indian dictionary?
Think I need another cup of coffee this AM.
