HIP HIP HOORAY
FOR A TWO HOUR DELAY!!!!
(And I didn't even have to put spoons under my pillow)
OK, let's be honest. This is really KEETHA stuff. Sometimes I write about Greg - - - but he has never in his life made one single post of his own. He has occasionally made a comment or two. So - - - come on in and visit with me, Keetha, for a while. I'd love it if you left your foot prints. (Interpretation: COMMENT PLEASE ;-)

That was a fun rhyme!!! Why a two hour delay? Did you guys get snow?
Well - - - to be HONEST with you, I'm not exactly SURE why we got this wonderful blessing of a two hour delay.
We ARE getting a light snow - - - but we've had worse and still went on time.
I'm bone weary myself, so this delay is a delight and I for one shall not kick the proverbial gift horse in the mouth.
Congratulations! I saw it on the news this morning. I hope you enjoyed a few extra hours!
Oh shannon I DID. It was just the "shot in the arm" I needed right now.
Hmmmm, we got 3 inches of snow last night and Bart and the kids dtill had to head to school at the normal time. Although, right now I am hearing about all the accidents that happened this morning on the news.
I was hoping oh so much for a snow day!
I don't really like a cancellation 'cause we have to make it up. But I will confess - - - I LOVE a delay. We still have all our classes, they are just shorter and we don't have to make it up.
yippee!!! snow day for us!! I'm sure we'll have to make it up somewhere along the line. But that's okay, we needed it today!! The snowman has been born and is enjoying herself in our yard! Glad you had a relaxing morning!! :) ~Jaye
Well since I'm coming out of lurk mode, I might as well go all out on the comments, huh?
We got 8 (or more) inches of snow last night/this morning, so my darling hubby had a full snow day today....no two hour delays around here. He's at the breaking point now though, and one more snow day will put him at the point of being irritated. LOL (I think they've missed 4 days so far.)
As you can see from my user name, we homeschool our own children, so they did not have a snow day today although when Dad is home, our day sometimes looks a little different.

Yeah, you're a lucky duck! No such luck for this chic!
Okay, explain the spoon thing to me. Call me an idiot, but I've never heard that expression before.
Schools in our area were closed today. Since we don't have kids in the system anymore, it doesn't really matter to us. I checked the tv and listened to the radio to see if we have a 2 hr. delay at the office BUT no such luck :)
You are all so fun with your delay comments.
ANON - - - -look down a few posts in this here ole blog and you'll learn ALL ABOUT those spoons under the pillow. :-)
(Here's a BIG hint - - - there's a PICTURE of spoons with the post that explains it)
Talk about short-term memory. I read that post and forgot about it!
I think that "hill" is coming a bit sooner than I feel that it is.
LOL - - - don't worry, this side of the hill is O.K.
Kathy...don't you have a bit of "influence" on your boss?!?!
hehehehe
